The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced WordPress Developers to support the design, development and maintenance of TableReady websites and digital platforms.
The successful developer will work on custom WordPress solutions, theme customisation, plugin integrations and website improvements for hospitality and business customers.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create custom WordPress themes and templates.
- Build Elementor and Elementor Pro based websites.
- Develop custom plugins and extend WordPress functionality.
- Work with WooCommerce websites and integrations.
- Integrate APIs, payment gateways and third-party services.
- Customise WordPress admin functionality.
- Improve website speed, security and performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Maintain existing websites and implement new features.
- Collaborate with designers and development teams.
Essential Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with WordPress development.
- Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions and filters.
- Experience with WooCommerce development.
- Knowledge of WordPress security and optimisation.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects.
- Own computer, development environment and reliable internet access.
- Right to work and operate on a self-employed basis in the UK.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Knowledge of Custom Post Types and WordPress database structure.
- Experience with WooCommerce customisation.
- Knowledge of website migration and hosting.
- Experience with website speed optimisation tools.
- Understanding of SEO plugins and analytics tools.
